About 70% of the families at Western Hills Church homeschool. God has called us to assist parents in raising up a generation that is bears much fruit in evangelism and outreach.
A team of twenty-five homeschool students (6th grade and older) participate in community outreach every Monday. These students teach character qualities to children in local schools, they host after school Bible Clubs for elementary age children, and they lead Bible Studies for Junior High students.
All these students are involved in training together to further their skills in lesson planning, Biblical studies, public speaking, and social skills.
In addition to our student outreach, Western Hills enjoys connecting with families who see education as their personal responsibility. We support parents in this calling and provide resources to help parents achieve excellence in home education.
Our full-time Student Pastor and his wife were homeschooled from elementary school to graduation. They have two children of their own and plan to home educate.
Whether your family homeschools or attends a public or private school, you will be accepted and supported at Western Hills Church.
